Visiting a church for the first time can feel a bit intimidating, and we completely understand! After all, each of us was a first-time visitor at some point too. To help you feel at ease, we’ve put together some information about what you can expect when you visit. We’re excited to meet you and look forward to worshiping together!

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:00am, with Sunday School classes at 11:30am & our Sunday evening worship service at 5:00pm. During the months of January & February we opt for an afternoon service at 1pm in place of our evening service. We also gather for a Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:30pm. We’d love for you to join us for any of these services! Feel free to arrive a little early to get settled in—we’re excited to have you with us!

Our church does not have its own parking lot so most of us park on the street or at the Carleton Funeral Home directly across the road. (If the Funeral Home parking lot is not available on a given Sunday, “No Church Parking Today” signs will be set up to let you know.)
-
We have two entrances, and both are perfectly fine to use! Most people enter through the Willow Street entrance, which takes you directly to the auditorium, restrooms, nurseries, and classrooms. Alternatively, you can use the Main Street entrance, which leads to the back of the auditorium. Feel free to choose whichever is most convenient for you!
-
Yes. We offer safe, clean, and professional nursery care during every service for children ages 0-3 so that you can enjoy the service without distraction. Nurseries are located off of the hallway inside the Willow Street entrance.
-
We offer age-specific classes during the Sunday School hour for children and adults. If you attend the Sunday School hour, we will be happy to take you and your family to the appropriate classes. During the Sunday Morning Service, children in K4-4th grade are welcome to attend our Junior Church service, while older children can attend the Morning Service in the Auditorium.

At New Life Baptist Church, you are welcome to come as you are—there’s no dress code for our members or guests. Some of our church family, including our pastor, choose to wear more traditional “Sunday” attire, while others dress more casually. What matters most to us is that you feel comfortable and at home during your visit. Whether you’re in jeans or a suit, we’re just glad you’re here!
